horizontal drag-scrolling problem in research tab

Occasionally, the horizontal scrolling functionality in the research view stops working. This happens unpredictably—sometimes after switching tabs, reloading the game, or without apparent triggers.

Steps to Reproduce (if possible):
Open the research view.
Try drag-scrolling horizontally
Issue: Scrolling fails intermittently (no response to input).

I use archlinux and lxde.
It just happened again. I closed the research tab, opened again and it did not solve the problem. But after switching virtual desktop, it was working again. Anyone have the same behaviour? May be I will check bugs report, in case one already exist.
