Been playing single player a fair bit lately, I think that the whole "we're allies we expect you to war with us regardless if we are the aggressor or defender" doesn't make for good gameplay. There's no nuance and doesn't seem to be how a human would handle diplomacy. I feel like especiall...

Would it be possible to move a lot of the info contained in the effects file to say the buildings or government ruleset file ? And perhaps set everything out more clearly ? I mean as it stands it's quite difficult to understand exactly what is possible/not possible with modding the effects file, you...

hex display

So I saw an article with a screenshot of what I think is freeciv http://media.pcgamer.com/files/2013/05/freeciv-1.png I was wondering how to get the map to be displayed as hexes like that instead of being displayed in rectangles (and just having some movements disabled/requiring two moves to get to) ?
