I've tried installing 3.1.3 with generic install script. I've got problem downloading code archive from cyfuture.dl.sourceforge.net. Is it temporally not accessible?

I have solved the problem downloading the code archive from freeciv.org manually.

Hello,
I am also facing the same problem when trying to install version 3.1.3 but I still haven't found a solution.
Can you share how you solved it?

If sourceforge.net link doesn't work, then try the alternate download link from files.freeciv.org.
Both links are shown on the Downloads page at:

1. Download freeciv-3.1.3.tar.xz
2. Put the archive in freeciv-genbuild
3. Run installation script (I did it on Linux), and it will work with the archive.

The script works automatically for the 3.1.4 version.

What is freeciv-genbuild? Is it a directory? How do I get one?
What is "installation script"? Is it a file within the archive?
I'm trying to build on a Mac, using their underlying "unix".

Please, see

for the installation script. It is the script that performs installing the FreeCiv on Linux. It can be downloaded from this site.
