I can not get old square view to work

Hi!

I was trying to pick freeciv to play with again, and can only get a isometric view.

I have tried to unselect Isometric and Hexagonal, and all the Ruleset is setting one or booth of them.

I tried 'Client Settings' in main window and there set 'Tileset(square)' to anything else without success, all I get is a message about Tileset Trident problem is probably incompatible with the ruleset: Couldn't load gfx file "flags/abkhazia" for sprite...

So any tips on how I can get this animal to show the old classic freeciv with the squares and not isometric view ?

I am running this on a Linux-Gentoo Ryzen computer, with plenty of ram. The installation is done by Gentoo package handler. And it gives me: Latest version installed: 3.1.2

I am prepared to do manual installation if I can get my old view back if that is whats needed, but I don't now what flags I have to kick to make it happend.

Please advice!

Trident is the overhead tileset you want, but this message sounds like there's something wrong in your installation which makes trident to fail.

Which might be a freeciv bug. Gentoo packaging of freeciv seems to be using the experimental meson build, and it might have trident broken. I keep on investigating.

A manual installation solved the problem, now it works as I remember it.
