All clients are capable of full screen mode. In most cases the option is in the "View" menu.

Thanks! I thought I had looked for it and couldn't find it. Try again!

Okay, no "View" option. I am using Freeciv-3.1.1-msys2-win64-10-sdl2-setup -- is that the right one for Windows 10?

For SDL, local options, interface, is what you want.

Yep! Got it to work!

Raises two questions:

1) Should I be using something other than sdl?

2) I have over 5 gigs of memory available; how can I make the map bigger?

SDL is fine, but it lacks some features. gtk3.22 is the most feature filled client. For SDL, to make the map bigger, you probably need to use the command line. Gtk has the map size in the game options menu when creating a new game.
