More details about MP2 victory paths

I've found this discussion and this is a follow up to viewtopic.php?t=93227
Looks like more discussion would allow everyone to get better games. It doesn't maker sense to limit the discussion to discord so here you have some more recent info about the topic. It's also great to see how MP2 is taking the longturn.net way of dealing with the granaries. I'm fairly sure this is the way to go with multiplayer and it's only the beginning for making the games better than before.

Things go so fast, in my opinion people are not figuring out mp2d yet, but should they ... ?
it did have a balance problem originally which was corrected perhaps too much but safe now
even so, the original goal of obliterating "golden paths" seems to be doing very well, which is what we want ? discuss your opinions
mp2e won't be released for a while because i think mp2d is still being digested and critiqued
even so, i can't believe how well we're doing on this to anticipate and listen to expert players and developers, it may not be a huge explosion of excitement you hope, just subtly better in little ways you never know
ok maybe better than that but i won't want to overhype it
mp2e is coming at the end of 2023
and yes, you can discuss it here

I enjoyed G41. I don't know that I performed especially well, but I enjoyed it anyway. The early game (and even founding new cities late in the game) did seem to move along a little more quickly with the granary changes. That was maybe the most welcome change.
Rapture is still OP IMO, and the management for a large late-game nation is overwhelming. I'm not sure what specifically to suggest, but, among other things, the mechanics of reassigned citizens on city growth might make a difference. The time it takes to click through the specialist types after Adam Smith is frustrating for 50+ cities. Makes me want fewer cities (which is what I initially intended), which basically means I want to not win..."
