What do you think about unit a cattle with horses instead a bison? Or on Unit "goods" a farm animals going with tribesmen or wagon.

There have been horses resource originally. There was some long story about how they turned into bisons, I have seen code comments in rulesets but don't know the details.

I think it's simply that civ1 had Horses, civ2 Buffalo, and most of our rulesets are derived from civ2 style.

Cattle sounds better for any other civilization
