how to hide ip address

so i noticed that if u join a server it will appear your ip in the chat
something like "user joined the game from 12.34.5.6
so theres any way i can hide my ip everytime i connect a game? thanks for your attention
sorry for bad grammar tho, english is not my first language

Longturn has this patched, but I'm not sure on what level. As a user, you have no power over it. If you are running a server and can compile, there is a way to fix this, but I don't know the details.

A proxy is what you need. Actually, IPs are used to prevent multilog (it's not allowed) but there are still proxies...

You could use a VPN there are some free out there in google if you search for them, it will not hide it but it's something kinda faking it it will show different ip than yours (technically it's the VPN server ip) this way it's not your main public ip
