International Freeciv Treaty Group

IFTG is a Discord-based Freeciv group which aims at creating a friendly community which you can easily quickly join a game with and start having fun.

If you don't know what Discord is, it is an application like Skype, but with more features. It allows you to create roles, text channels (and voice channels), emojis and a more than decent moderation system with Audit Logs.

The group is currently still being constructed and thought about, but you are free to join the server to ask any questions or sign up as a member.

Too bad. I have technical and RL difficulties using Discord, and when I can, truth is I avoid the main servers for Freeciv-Web.

But I guess this Forum suffices as a main hub for all things Freeciv. It's definitely useful for archival purposes! A future Freeciv historian will have a much easier time with this platform than Discord.

Game history will one day be a thing, especially as games and RL begin to bleed into each other. Examples:
