Sometimes I want to see more of the map at one time. Maybe I am missing how to zoom in/out in gtk2.5.6? (I searched the manual) It is easy enough in freeciv-web. I like to play longer more involved games and freeciv-web is just too slow later in the game.

In the supplied clients, there is no way of zooming. The only currently possible thing would be to use a tileset with smaller tiles, e.g. isotrident instead of amplio2.
