Hi, I am from PR China, and this is the first time for me to play FreeCiv (I play with 2.4.3), and I think the game is great.
I have two questions, first is how to show the information of a tile (the info as plain or hill, the Food/Production/Trade), I left click it and show nothing.
The second is how to update an obsoleted unit, is there any special building needed?

You will get the tile info if you press the middle mouse button.

For updating a Unit there is no building needed. After you have researched the Tech for a more modern Unit, you can select the Unit and use Shift+U to upgrade it to its more modern version.

The unit also needs to be inside a city to be upgraded.
