Can't save

Hi there, I need some help here.
I'm currently playing a single player game with maximum enemy AI, map size, landmass, and resources. When I try to save my game, it says that the game saved successfully, but when I try to load it the next day, the most recent saved file was on turn 124. But I saved yesterday around turn 200. I tried today to save at turn 125 but it seems like it is not creating a save file and still bringing me back to turn 124. I tried creating a new game with same username, save on the first turn, and loaded it with no problems. Need some tips on trying to fix this, thanks
