Human players: All we need is (AI) love

I was thinking it would be great if the whole diplomacy status between human players could be somewhat tied to AI love.
How?
People of one nation could love or hate people of other nation and thus influencing peace and war with them. Different forms of government could be much or more tied to opinion of the crowd. Going against opinion of your own people could result in additional unhappiness. Trade could also being affected by Love.
And so on....
