Would it be possible to get similar three (or at least one) volcano sprites for hexemplio? One inactive, and two frames of eruption. One sprite would already enable use of volcano terrain in custom rulesets, multiple frames would allow me to play with some animating ideas.

Like demonstrated with existing amplio2 volcano:

This is
not client side animation support, but just server side lua script altering terrain types. Maybe not very good use of computing resources, but at least this shows that it can be done on some scale while we wait for proper client side animation support.

I upgraded my extended terrain types so they work with freeciv 3.1.4.
Extended terrain tiles and a ruleset (civ2civ3) using them is available from:
https://github.com/Hafting/freecivstuff
The freeciv terrain generators will use the features (extra hill types and volcanoes) when the toonhex+ graphics and "hh" ruleset is selected.
I also provide a terrain generator using simulated plate tectonics & simulated weather to make such terrains. It is available from:

I added jungle hills if someone is interested. I can provide trident graphics if needed... If someone could provide savanna graphics that would be nice.
