Status update of Freecivx 3D as of March 2026:
- Play Freecivx 3D at freecivx.com
- Source code: https://github.com/freecivx/freecivx
- Uses Three.js r183 with WebGPU renderer.
- Uses Freeciv C server, or Freecivx Java server.
- Supports hexagonal and square map tiles.
- Elo rating of multiplayer games.
- 2D map renderer with Trident tileset.

Hello! I think I remember you from the Freeciv sub-Reddit a couple of years ago. You should be aware that when I click the link, this message comes up:

"Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with freecivx.com. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails."

Under the circumstances, I didn't proceed to the website.
