Yes, it is an issue of the gtk4 client. I have installed the gtk3.22 client, everything is fine.

On 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 the fan is always rotating during the 3.1.0 game, gtk4. On gtk3.22, game version 3.0.10 it is not rotating. So, I keep playing 3.0.10.

I had a dark theme in Ubuntu 22.04. I was disappointed by running Freeciv 3.0.7. There was a white menu font on a light background. It was hard to see. I switched back to the light theme.

I have compiled 3.0.7 with gtk3.22 client. In the beginning there has been the message about absence of Qt5-dev library. I have ignored it, and the compilation is successful. There is no need in the Qt library in the GTK client.
