An in-browser solution to my civilization addiction?

Does anyone know of a good free Civ clone or one of the older games (I'll accept 1-4) that play in html5 somewhere or flash. What am I supposed to do at work? Living in a post freeciv world... A harsh realm.

From what I've seen, the best option in a browser is the web version of Freeciv,
slope often called Freeciv-web. It runs in HTML5 and keeps most of the classic turn-based mechanics, so you can still build cities, research tech, and expand your empire like in the original Sid Meier's Civilization.
