The goal of FCIV.NET is to create a 3D version of Freeciv playable in the browser. FCIV.NET is completely free and open-source. All the source code and game assets are free and open source. (This is unlike FCW, where not all game assets are open source)
FCIV.NET is committed to creating an accessible platform for Freeciv players of all levels.
Most recently support for rendering nuclear explosions using the particle system in Three.js.
