Do you have .blend files for these? The "source" files are required by the GPLv2+ license for them to get included in freeciv.

Well, unfortunately my hard drive stopped working, so many of my units are forever lost and so many hours of work... However, I uploaded many of them here last year. I improved many after the upload so the quality of the uploads may vary but they should be good enough and its definitely better than nothing:

If we want to add a ton of new cimpletoon units: opengameart.org is full of them. The only roadblock that I see is that I know nobody who can do the 8 perspective screenshots for each unit. Which is a technicality but that I couldnt figure out how to do...

If someone knows how to do so I can start assembling links:

For the WWI fighter for example:

Thanks. I'll try to check those in somewhat near future (busy with multiple things + I'm supposed to take it a bit easier for a while). Raised a ticket about that, so I don't forget: https://osdn.net/projects/freeciv/ticket/44714

The main thing is that everything must be GPL2+ licensed, and to fill the requirements of that license ("source" must be available). On Cimpletoon particularly, some earlier contributions couldn't be used, because they were just renderings with no .blend sources ever made available.

All my work is released under GPL-2 (I believe this is the license Freeciv is released under.) unless stated otherwise. Any of my renders of someone else's work should be considered their own.
