On Europe's map, one tile is less than 1000 km² (Europe is 10 180 000 km² according to Wikipedia, the map has 20 000 tiles and less than 50% water). The so-called "exclusion zone" of Tchernobyl is 2600 km². So... few tiles ^^

According to Wikipedia again, the amount of people relocated after Fukushima and Tchernobyl was of the order of a few 100 000 -- actually close to 8 citizens.

Europe map is very rarely played. I'd say that 90% of all games are world map. So...?
