The first Scenario Game on
http://longturn.org/ will be played in a couple of weeks/months. The map will probably be a version of the German States 1871 Scenario. More information here:

There will be another Scenario Game next year. SG2 will start once SG1 has ended. The map and the scenario is not decided yet but WW1 is a good candidate.
The ruleset will be modified to support this kind of game. Wouldn't probably work that well with the vanilla ruleset or even with the one used for most longturn.org games.
