Bribe/Incite cost multiplier based on gov?

Post by wieder »

Would it be possible to define multiplier that would make inciting cities or bribing units like 4x or 10x more expensive compared to other govs? For example you could incite a size 1 city (owned by someone running monarchy) and that would cost 50. However if the player owning that city would be in democracy it would cost 200 or even 500 to incite it.

You'll want to look at the Incite_Cost_Pct and Unit_Bribe_Cost_Pct effects. I believe the Incite_Cost_Pct is even used in supplied rulesets for the Courthouse building.

Unit_Bribe_Cost_Pct is in 2.6, not 2.5

Ah, well, I don't even have a 2.5 client installed anymore, so I didn't think to check. Still though, I believe LT will be switching over to 2.6 for their next experimental game (right?), and this sounds like more of an experimental change.
