Just for fun trying to figure out what that means: Something fresher than 2.6.0-beta1 belonging to S2_6.
So if I go to
Freeciv on GitHub the landing page is for the master branch, where I can click on the
Branch: master button and select branch
S2_6. In that branch I can click on
commits arriving at a list of the recent
S2_6 commits. The top entry is
f1adf62, apparently GitHub truncates recent commit hashes to seven hex. digits, you truncated the hash to ten hex. digits. The complete hash would be far too horrible to talk about:
f1adf62cbb15bdc6ffb12fe3f505e7be9257f9ae, two days ago.
The binaries are available on
files.freeciv.org in a
2.6.0-beta1+f1adf62cbb sub...sub-folder, everything created with MSYS1 as 32bits-installer for Windows, maybe still covered by
Install-Windows on the Wiki, or rather, not belonging to
MSYS2 and/or 64bits Windows. There's also a
Readme boiling down to everything I wrote here. It's one of those
"once you know it, it is obvious" things.

Update, FWIW I've added two lines on
More Distributions, but
Template:FtpLink is unsuited for these post-Gna! tasks.
