Unit bonus based on distance from home city

What would you like to see in Freeciv? Do you have a good idea what should be improved or how?

Unit bonus based on distance from home city

My idea is about give workers bonus based on distance from home city. Good idea is also to give defense/offense bonus to units based on distance from home city.
