Freeland

Post by cazfi »

I made versions of Freeland tileset (normal and big size versions), originally for freeciv-2.3, for all current freeciv branches.

Freeciv-2.4 and Freeciv-2.5 versions are available with modpack installer. TRUNK version is being maintained in https://github.com/cazfi/fcmodpacks

How can I install it? I copied the freeland directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\Freeciv-2.5.0-beta1-gtk2\data, but tileset wasn't available (neither in 2.4). I am new to installing themes.

Modpack installer should put everything to right place automatically, no need to copy files around. Note that tilesets are not compatible between freeciv versions (except bugfix releases denoted by third number), so to use it in both freeciv-2.4 and freeciv-2.5, you need to install it with both freeciv-2.4 modpack installer (freeciv-modpack) and freeciv-2.5 modpack installer (freeciv-mp-<gui>, where gui is probably "gtk2").
