Civ colours
Civ colours
I would like it if each nation had a colour specific to that nation, and the client could chose between using the current method of setting the colours and using the colours defined in the nation.ruleset file. This would be useful for ruleset authors who want to make sure a certain nation always has the same colour.

Re: Civ colours
civ1 & civ2 rulesets have that, but it's a bit hard to define distinct colors for over five hundred nations in the main distribution.Elefant wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 7:53 pm I would like it if each nation had a colour specific to that nation, and the client could chose between using the current method of setting the colours and using the colours defined in the nation.ruleset file. Re: Civ colours
Good to know. It would be nice if there was documentation for all these features.

Re: Civ colours
Supplied rulesets should have the documentation about all features as comments. The reason documentation lives there, is that most cases it's where most people need it (or at least used to - that might be something to re-evaluate as ruledit gets better). They copy one of those rulesets, and then start editing the copy.
If those comments are missing for some feature (they might for the nation colors), please file a bug ticket.
