city vision shenanigans

I have tried to create an effect that reveals a larger part of the map right at the beginning of a game. City radius can grow later in the game with an improvement and it would be nice if the revealed area around the starting units could reflect that, but still keep the actual city vision to the standard radius until an improvement is built that increases it. I have been trying around a bit, but with no success, likely because any reducing effect is applied to the default vision as well. Could there be a way to make that work?

game.ruleset civstyle.init_vis_radius_sq, I think - no need for any effects.

Yep, totally works. I wasn't even aware that this option existed, probably because game.ruleset was the first file I edited and hadn't even come up with the idea back then. Thanks!
