Proposed feature: Lua access to player's government
osdn #43294: Targeted to freeciv-3.1: Lua: Make it possible to access player's government.
Re: Proposed feature: Lua access to player's government
This is an example where (for me) it is good to know that it is 'in the works', and that I no longer need to draw attention to the problem.
For those who may not be familiar with this, the tolua supplied services for userdata subtype Government are complete in the sense that the current version of _freeciv_state_dump can save such global variables in a save file (and have them restored), but all this is profoundly useless for the reason stated in the ticket (there is no facility to find out a Player`s Government)
