Effectively a bug: unit disbandment during peace
Re: Effectively a bug: unit disbandment during peace
Well, if we are making a wishlist, borders shouldn't move at all except by player action, whichever that is: units placing flags or some new interface, and that should include the border between allies.

Not to anybody specifically, but what may work for some people annoyed with current borders code; have you considered playing borders disabled?
Re: Effectively a bug: unit disbandment during peace
That has other undesirable effects: possibility to plant a city at an impossible location and use it as a military outpost. But it is a two-sided strategy, I guess.
Also, what happens to military unhappiness in that case?

Likely, when there are no borders, borders don't help mil. unhappiness. You can only deploy your mil. units in cities to avoid it (or bases if they eliminate unhappiness, don't know if far away bases do).Corbeau wrote:Also, what happens to military unhappiness in that case?
