Customize content?

Postby Nifty62 » Fri May 30, 2014 9:10 pm

Hey all,

Is it at all possible to customize things in the game?

I saw something about mods and such but I don't really understand how it works on a browser based game.

I'd like a custom map and to change some of the flags if possible. The flag chosen for Vermont puzzles me, I don't recognize it at all, and I lived in Vermont.

Customization is possible in freeciv (desktop game), but the browser game freeciv-web does not allow much customization as you can't change the files on the server. It uses almost standard freeciv server under the hood though, so I assume you are able to change server settings via the chat. Start commands to freeciv server with "/" -> "/help", "/help set", "/show all", "/explain gold", "/set gold 500"
