I received a message saying "Learned Future Tech. 1. Scientists decided to research Future Tech. 2" after learnt everything from the tech tree. What does these future techs mean and what the benefit?

At the moment, nothing. They're just something to sink additional research into. Some rulesets might be able to do something with them (e.g. grant bonuses based on how many you have) in the future.

Future techs also boost your score
