[Linux][SDL-client][2.4.0] Where can I change the resolution

You can get help here if Freeciv doesn't start on your computer, or if you keep getting fatal errors while playing etc.

[Linux][SDL-client][2.4.0] Where can I change the resolution

Post by tuxator »

Hi,

I downloaded the source of the game a few days ago, compiled it to SDL and fired it up, sadly the game is windowed in 640x480 (or 800x600 like that...it's tiny). I searched the options dialog, but I can't find any point that let's me change the resolution. Could someone direct me to where I can find that setting?

(Tested in trunk) Press escape. -> Local Options -> Interface. Change the option "Screen resolution". You may wish to make it Fullscreen as well. Remember to apply changes in stead of canceling.

yeah...found it. Took me a while to find it. The game is localized into my native tongue (German) and the translation is...weird. The menu point 'Interface' is translated to 'Bedienung' which means something like 'Control [of the game]'

Thanks.
