2.6.1 is mostly a bugfix release. See the full list of changes.
Source code is available in the usual place. Compiled Windows packages aren't available yet, but should follow shortly; we'll post again here when they turn up.
In other news, I've (finally) updated the 2.6 civ2civ3_earth modpack available in the modpack installer from v2018_07b to v2018_10. See Github commits for some clues as to what changed.
