Is there any chance to play a scenario by "play-by-email? (from one of those: http://forum.freeciv.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=809"?)
Playing alone is not so much fun. Getting a game ahead at longturn is not getting out of the planing stages since almost a year. Metaserver is not really an option and inpracitcal since scenarios are best played with long turns.

This is a good idea. It will take some work to get working nicely in Freeciv-web though.
