Since 20th February 2016, Freeciv-web has been played 17841 hours in total! This statistic is updated on play.freeciv.org in real-time. Those are some great numbers. (also: think what could have been accomplished if that time had been put to productive use
play.freeciv.org/meta/stats shows the number of Freeciv-web singleplayer, Freeciv-web multiplayer, Freeciv-web PBEM play-by-email and Freeciv desktop multiplayer games reported by meta.freeciv.org. It seems that most players use single-player mode. I wonder if there is anything we could improve to make PBEM and Freeciv-web multiplayer more popular?

Updated statistics: Freeciv-web has been played 98145 hours in total by all users since 20th February 2016, that is over 11 years! Most games are single-player, but it it also interesting to compare multiplayer games: There has been 2711 multiplayer games on Freeciv-web, 900 Freeciv desktop client multiplayer games on the Freeciv metaserver. Nice!
