Help with deactivated account

I made an account in order to save my single player game but after noticing the name capitalisation wasn't correct I figured there'd be an easy way to change it. After some stumbling around trying to find a login/account management page I found the "conveniently" labeled "Account ..." button under Play by e-mail which, I admit, was dumb of me but I rushed through the "login" prompt only to realise too late I had just deactivated my account.
I thought, no big deal, I'll just re-create it but now I'm stuck being unable to use my name in any way, for a new account or as a guest name. I don't see an option to re-activate or recover the account either.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could either re-activate my account or delete it fully so I can re-create it. The username and e-mail in question are the same as on this forum.
