I don't mean "activating rapture". That happens at the Turn Change when city grows. I mean the information that the city is in state of celebration and that it *will* rapture on TC. Just like when citizens are revolting and stuff happens at TC, but you get the information tha they are about to revolt immediately.

For the record, 8 hours later, still "Peace" instead of "Celebrating", with 0 discontent, 4 content and 5 happy. Food available, Aqueduct present.

Just by increasing luxury and thus happy citizens, the city isn't celebrating yet (as that also has an influence on tile outputs etc.). It only starts celebrating at the next turn change. However, I think regular Freeciv clients show the city as "happy" if it is in a state where it will be celebrating next turn.

For the record, I haven't been able to log in for more than 24 hours. No information about causes or possible solutions so far.

:( It's his turn to support Lexxie in her crazy suicide mission schemes. I put a lot of work into running his civs while he was away. I hope he doesn't get out easy on helping our alliance with what ever it was we were supposed to accomplish. That was a very long password I had to type while he was away. I was going to make him run some of my civs and take a break. Please fix this so we can go invade a country that isn't real.

Renaming cities has been disabled in LongTurn games, to reduce the need for moderating city names.

This sounds really cool to me!
This was done about 35 turns ago for g1 and g2, and there were strong reactions against it afterwards. Personally I'm against it too. It's like unfogging the map. The image even showed production in each city, and if they were occupied by units. That's way too much info.
I didn't realize that the idea is to post pictures of currently running games. I would also advice against that. But once the game is over it would be cool to see the map and how it developed over time.

A weird thing, probably a bug, can't really explain it.

I'm playing PBEM. Currently under Democracy. Luxury is locked at 20%, so 80% remaining for Tax+Sci.

For the given Sci percentage, this is the number of bulbs I'm getting :

30%: 130
40%: 178
50%: 215
60%: 193 <--- ???
70%: 296
80%: 345

Tax / net income is what should be expected.

This behaviour has persisted for two turns so far (not exactly same numbers, of course).

Might it be that some of your cities are revolting?
