The Battleship is weak against bomber plains. (See patch #7620)

The Battleship's defense is halved when attacked by a Bomber or a Stealth Bomber. The motivation behind this change is to make it easier to defend against battleships. (Battleships can bombard 3 tiles away.) It is inspired by the 1921 American experiment where SMS Ostfriesland was sunk by bombers and by how battleships were massacred in WWII.

It is possible that the rule (or something like it) should be expanded to similar units. Arguments for why the rule should/shouldn't include a certain unit type is welcome. Patches accompanied by the reasoning for expanding it too.

The Leader can now heal it self and other light weight land units. (See patch #7775)

25% of the target unit's hit points are restored. Healing a unit spends all the Leaders remaining movement points.

Moving from a ship to the beach doesn't spend all movement points. (See hrm Feature #643525)

This eliminates the surprise (for someone new to Freeciv) when units landed on some beach can't move on until next turn.

Airlifting to and from allied cities is allowed by default. (See hrm Feature #647963)

This allows more efficient cooperation between allies. The new default can be changed via the airliftingstyle server setting.

Railroads can't be used by enemy units by default. (See hrm Feature #653510)

This makes building railroads more valuable. It balances that a unit can land on your island without losing all its moves.

To permit the enemy to use your railroads disable the restrictinfra server setting.

Roads can now be used by the enemy even if the restrictinfra server setting is enabled.

More powerful alliances. (See hrm Feature #658361, hrm Feature #658515, hrm Feature #658833 and hrm Feature #659192)

Caravan and Freight can help allies to complete wonders. Sun Tzu's War Academy, J.S. Bach's Cathedral and A. Smith's Trading Co. helps its owner's allies too.

Spy nuke escape is limited to higher veteran levels. (See hrm Feature #661962)

From now on the only spies capable of trying to escape after hiding a nuke in a city are agents and spymasters (the two highest veteran levels).

It becomes impossible to bribe or sabotage a unit in a unit stack if the killstack server setting is enabled.

Less powerful Manhattan project. (See hrm Feature #662938)

The owner of The Manhattan Project can have his spies hide nukes in cities. The odds of successfully hiding a nuke has been reduced. It has been reduced more for lower veteran levels.
