Freeciv-web now supports Civ2Civ3 and Freeciv classic rulesets

Post by AndreasR »

Freeciv-web now supports the Civ2Civ3 ruleset and the classic Freeciv ruleset in production. The classic ruleset is still the default ruleset, and is functionally the same ruleset as Freeciv-web has had for a long time.

More information about the Civ2Civ3 ruleset here: http://freeciv.wikia.com/wiki/Civ2civ3

Please post feedback about the Civ2Civ3 ruleset here. Do you think Civ2Civ3 should be the default ruleset in Freeciv-web?

The ruleset can be changed in the settings dialog before the game starts.

Great! I didn't know unhardcoding of the extras and bases stuff is so far in freeciv-web that you can now have rulesets with different set of bases. Does freeciv-web show achievements and culture, or are these only affecting server without player seeing them?
