Hello friends,
I just noted, that the forum still runs without HTTPS secure connections. That really is not feasible anymore.

With https://letsencrypt.org/ it should be possible to establish this without financial ties - its free but well done. Who knows enough about the hosting of this forum to push this?

As far as I can tell, the server is running on really obsolete infrastructure without Let's Encrypt support. And if you're playing online games with the native client, beware that the native protocol isn't encrypted either.
