From the original post's "Screenshot of a typical map" it seems that map generation parameters are not set to make world very welcoming.

I'm wondering, just out of curiosity: I was skimming the repo, and this game's settings are the only place where I could find a reference to the ruleset "multiplayer2". What's up with that?

Actually, this map would be far more interesting if Engineers and terraforming were available immediately, Alpha Centauri style.

The ruleset had to be modified to generate the terrain in mostly desert. Otherwise identical to the multiplayer ruleset. This game is running the multiplayer ruleset now.

I think you need a friend to tell you how you make yourself appear in public.

I appreciate all the hard work, the dedication and, a lot of time, patience, but Andreas, sometimes you are a PR disaster.
