Combat predictor

Post by Shirtboy »

Hi, I bet some of these already exist but I made this:

http://wilsonseverywhere.ddns.net/civtool

It's just running off my home server, so will be slow if lots of people try it at once.

It lets you pick terrain, experience, units and see how likely you are to win.

Limitations:(which I'll fix if folk are interested):

Only land units
Doesn't have special rules for e.g. pikemen
Only Classic ruleset as of yet

Nice one! I especially like how it shows the factors of everything and not just an end result.

Another idea for an improvement (if I may): have everything happen on one page, and remember settings.
For example, if I have configured the defender to be a Veteran phalanx in a city without walls on a forest square, I don't need to re-enter all this for trying out which of my potential attacking units might suffice for this task.
Time flies like an arrow.
Fruit flies like a banana.
