I've tested civ2civ3 on Freeciv-2.6 how to know many turns it takes for a transport to build an oil platform. Basically it takes 2 turns even if it's veteran. With the help of an engineer it takes 1 turn only if both are veteran.

So I guess oil platform build cost is 10 turns, and transport work speed is 5 (7.5 if veteran).

From the Help Browser:

- Transport move speed is 5
- Oil Platform build time is "Terrain Specific" .... Deep Ocean build time for Oil Platform is 10.

Thank you. I should more often use the Help Browser instead of README.civ2civ3.

I've done my tests with a Magellan's Expedition. In this case transport move speed is 6 but work speed is still 5.
