Normally I play on inux where I can copy paste many server settings
to configure the game very easily. I am currently stuck playing on a Windows box.
I have no desire to continue typing many different settings into the DOS window and the
client, well, that's not so good either. Is there an option (looked but did not find)
for the server to tell it to load a file containing the settings?
Thanks

Re: server settings on windows
Did you try the server command "read"? It reads a .serv file and runs the commands therein.

Also note command "write" that writes current settings to such a file to later load with "read"

O wow! Thanks for those responses. I never knew there were read and write commands!
