stuck on turn 1

We started a game and we all made our first turn and all 8 of us ended our turn, then waited for infinity and the second turn never started.
How is this possible? All of us looked for solutions or anyone else who had this problem and nothing to be found on this or other sites.
Normal single player games work fine.
