I've managed to do some fixes for "Coast" units. Keeping it for now. Let's see if the fixes are enough.

That's in about 24 hours. Now it's last chance to report any blocker issues, or you need to live with them until 3.1.

I don't think there's any new nations since 2.6.

S3_0 datafile formats have now been frozen. Happy modding!

I'll try to make an Windows build with the frozen formats soonish.

S3_0 alpha3 light weight release source code has been released. This is the first S3_0 alpha with the final freeciv-3.0 datafile formats, after those were frozen two weeks ago.

Tarballs are available from http://files.freeciv.org/packages/windo ... _0-alpha3/

Windows binaries from that source code are in the making.

Experimental crosser-based Windows packages available from: http://files.freeciv.org/packages/windo ... _0-alpha3/ There's only win64 packages. Disclaimer: I have had no opportunity to test these at all, just built and uploaded.

Official msys2-based packages will follow in a couple of days.

Both Qt32 nor Gtk32 are not working on winXP, program terminated after pop-up message about no GetThreadId procedure entry in KERNEL32.dll
(similar message about EnumDirTree was in previous versions, but was harmless).

Minimum Windows version is 7, and was Vista already in freeciv-2.6.
