It's a small but interesting scenario with a fun colonization race.

I found it easier than playing the Hanseatic League in Germany 1871. But maybe that's because I expected it to be hard...

Fun map! I'd love to tweak the ruleset a bit though (How do I change server settings in a scenario?). I think JS.Bach's cathedral doesn't work. I would prefer to have military units inside borders not cause unhappiness.

I'd consider remaking the map so that there are no 1-tile islands.

One note: I enjoyed a lot to play with cannons without gunpowder.

I haven't managed to change server settings afterwards unfortunately and to be honest I usually don't play the scenarios. I just let the ais fight each other and look for unbalances and then try to tweak it so that not everytime the same ai wins... (but with lesser success)

It isn't perfect. Florida had to be moved to the west of Cuba instead of being north, Cuba itself had to be bend and the Bahamas didnt get as much detail as they deserve. Anyhow it already was my second try so I had to compromise. Dont know if I will make it again, its some (redundant) work...
But I have maybe planned to make a French Antilles scenario where you get a very detailed view on Martinique and Guadelupe but its only a thought.
One note: I enjoyed a lot to play with cannons without gunpowder.
