IANAL, but creating a new soundset with references to freesounds + stdsounds might be okay. Technically it works, I have my own dunnoob soundspec consisting of almost anything in freesounds, but std inh2o for battleships, std illegal for bad moves, and FreeCol generic as intro sound.cazfi wrote:you need to be careful with the licenses. In theory that could be distributed as Modpack, adding freesounds.AUTHORS, COPYING, README + GPL for the stdsounds + FreeCol parts. But I'm not planning to do that, unless it would be a test for the planned dependency feature.
