What would you like to see in Freeciv? Do you have a good idea what should be improved or how?

The idea is to introduce special kind o points, which players can gather by:
- Building a wonder
- Connecting own cities with road
- Winning a battle
- Creating trade route
- Researching technology as first player

Points are calculated on each tur, don't accumulate, so destroying and rebuild roads don't provide additionally point. Only when player win a battle, points are accumulated.

Use cases:
- Hire a hero
- Get enemy's cities
- Other special bonuses (for example unit full regeneration, add new skill level/veteran status to unit)
- Buying governments
- Makes city celebrating
- Increase size of units providing martial law in city
- Increase size of units available for free
- Selling in diplomacy(I prefer to allow selling culture points, but that idea isn't very bad, because Other loves us how much we can be proud)

Special use case is buying a government. In my opinion governments shouldn't be accessible by technology tree, but for compatibility reasons can be accessible for older ruleset. That's more realistic for buying governments by society trends than technology breakthrough.

When player lost points bellow points requires to kept all bonuses, he/she must sell some bonuses, like units, government, etc.

Gameplay:
First available building in game will be palace. After build it, player can choose to:
a) Buy special diplomat unit, called king, dictator or different
b) Buy government despotism(player have only anarchy and tribal government available at beginning)
c) Buy two workers
d) Buy scout and warrior
e) Buy three warriors

Imagine player discover masonry and construct pyramids. This give player 1000 points for example. Player can realize previous things or buying monarchy(monarchy will costs 900 points for example). In my opinion pyramids should have no special effects, but only add points to player.

Imagine player found enemy city. Instead buy it for cash, he/she can convince a city to turn to him/his side.

The idea could been expanded.
