[Killstack] Protector

What would you like to see in Freeciv? Do you have a good idea what should be improved or how?

[Killstack] Protector

This is another my idea about killstack. I just ask You to add protect action. Protect action takes all moving points of unit in this and next turn, but it will be another protector of unit in tile. If one defender gets loss, there's no killstack. Killstack will be performed, when no protector unit on tile after battle. If no protector unit on tile is set, then standard behavior will take effect.

Should this be change in how fortifying works instead of being separate activity? Or how it should work in relation to fortifying? Does such unit get defense bonus similar to fortified unit? Does it get it immediately (unlike Fortifying -> Fortified activities)?

I think fortifying should be only possible on ally territory, while this action should be possible anywhere.

Unit doesn't gets defense bonuses.

It will be immediately.

I wonder if there should exist fortify hit points and unit flag attack fortify, but that's for separate idea.
